BBVA League Quiz

Hello friends!

In the last week we have been doing a quiz with Hot Potatoes, which is a program to make different types of interactive activities.Before working with Hot Potatoes, we did all the quiz in Google Docs. We did 20 questions about what ever we want, in this case about BBVA League.

Then, our teacher corrected all the questions and we started working with Hot Potatoes. When we finished working with Hot Potatoes, we saved and we published in the blog.

2nd Term Works

The second term  is fisished and in this post I'm going to explain what works we have been doing during this 3 months. On the one hand, we did a slidecast explaining all we have been doing in the first term. If you wont to see the slidecast click here.

On the other hand, we created a Google site that was created to do our imaginary business. In this work, we learn to change formatting settings and in the site we have to include the catalogue, the location, offers, prices...

The Nobel Prize Winner

Hi everybody! I'm here again writing another post about one of the winner of the Nobel Price.

The winner that select is called Charles K.Kao that was born in November 4 1993, in Shanghai, China. His nationality is Chinese and he is residence in Hong Kong, China. Charles K.Kao won a Nobel Prize in 2009, the name of the prize was called Nobel Laureate in Physics.

  Hi was awarded for groundbreaking achievements concerning the transmission of light in fibers for optical communication. He was educated in the university of London and he worked is standard Telecommunication Laboratories and in the Chinese University of Hong Kong.

Kao was born in Shanghai in 1933. He studied Chinese Classics at home with his brother, under a tutor. He also studied English and French at an international school in Shanghai. Kao's family moved to Hong Kong in 1948 where he completed his secondary education and he did his undergraduate studies in electrical engineering.

The story!

  DREAM IN THE DARK CASTLE     

It was a dark day in a castle. It was raining and the ravens were flying when suddenly wake up Anne. She was alone in the castle. It heard some noises on the corridor and she stand up from her bed. It was very scared to go outside for the bedroom. She took one sword and she went to the corridor. She was feeling something in her back but Anne couldn’t look because of the fear. She started running but it was stupid because something continued in her back. It was in that time when suddenly appeared in front of her...

It was horrible, it had all the body and also a part of its face full of blood.Anne, horrified started running through the corridor.The monster follow her but it walks much slower than her so Anne get to her bedroom.From there was listening the horrible noises of the monster at the other side of the door. The monster was trying to pull the door down and Anne terrified went to the balcony.The monster pull down the door when she decided to went to the other balcony.

The balcony was two metres from the floor, so she decided to jump. The girl felt a bit unconscious, but she didn’t have time to do anything because the ugly monster was looking at her from the balcony. The girl had an idea; she took the ax that was in the garden under the bigger tree and when she threw to the monster, all the garden was full of blood! Anne was surprised when she saw more monsters.  

She was scared and she thought that they would be her imaginations because of the jump that she did and because she was a little bit sick. The time went on and she felt better, but the monsters didn’t  disappear, so they were real. At that moment she started running towards a small house she saw in the way. She knocked at the door, and when she saw the horrible giant that opened, she wasn’t ready to see that, so she fainted.

When Anne woke up, she didn’t know how many time passed after the fainting. She was alone in a strange bed in a dark room. Sometimes she heard the giants steps back the door, but nobody entered in. The room had a small window, so Anne jumped to ask help or to escape. But the only thing that she saw was ten of the terrible monsters of the castle running on the grass, with their bloody bodies. She was trapped.





She was very scared, the monsters were nearer and nearer and she didn’t know what to do when suddenly she heard a noise. Was her mother shouting. What was happening, it didn’t have any sense. At that moment she opened her eyes and she saw her mom in front of her, everything was normal anyone had entered in her bedroom. She can’t believe it that all was a bad dream.
